Two Issues That Matter to Me on This Ballot
There are many issues on the ballot, but two are particularly important to me.
There are many issues on the ballot, but two are particularly important to me.
YES on IP26-645 — No Individual Income Tax
I believe Washington should remain a state without an individual income tax. IP26-645 would repeal the newly enacted 9.9% tax on annual individual income over $1 million and prohibit state and local governments from imposing taxes on individual income.
YES on IL26-638 — Keep Female Sports for Biological Females
I believe women's and girls' sports should be reserved for biological females. IL26-638 would prohibit students it defines as biologically male from competing in certain K–12 athletic activities designated for female students.
People can disagree with me. That is what elections are for.
But for me, these are two important principles:
YES on IP26-645 — No individual income tax.
YES on IL26-638 — Keep female sports for biological females.
That is where I stand.
