Since publishing 88 Japanese Wisdom — For Business, Leadership, and Life in September, I have continued writing. Now, 88 Japanese Wisdom II — Words, Work, and Life is starting to take shape.

 

Like the original, it contains 88 entries divided into four Books of 22.

 

The first book was organized around:

Book II takes a slightly different direction:

 

CHARACTER & INNER LIFE
WORDS, CULTURE & RELATIONSHIPS
WORK & DAILY PRACTICE
TIME, CHANGE & LIFE

 

The first book focused more on how Japanese wisdom can guide the way we act, work, and lead.

 

Book II goes deeper into how Japanese people think, communicate, work, deal with change, and look at life itself. There is more emphasis on language and culture—not just traditional proverbs, but everyday Japanese words and expressions that reveal ways of thinking.

 

Same format. Another 88 ideas. But a different perspective on Japanese wisdom.

 

It is almost ready.
